Tried 3 or 4 times yesterday and a couple of times today just got “there is a problem with your request – try again later’ – really helpful!

Anyone who writes code like that should be damned 10 miles beyond hell where even the Devil himself cannot get for stinging nettles

    – to bring John Baynes up to date

  • Tony says:

I am also still getting the “There was a problem with your request, please try again later.” message with both with my account and my partners, I have tried several times since th article was published. Rob, obviously a widespread issue, can you use a contact at BA to find out what is going on and perhaps worth an article?

  • Steve R says:

Two different laptops, three different browsers & guess what PITA

  • Soso says:

Probably stupid idea but could it be because only the of household account can enter ? Trying to give benefit of the doubt to BA cause a lottery like this should not be this hard

    • Retron says:

“Probably stupid idea but could it be because only the of household account can enter”.

Bingo, that worked (despite trying everything on my account – different browsers, computers, even countries via VPN). I guess if you’re in a household account only the head account can enter.

      • Keiths says:

I have the opposite problem – the lead name on teh household account cannot register, but the 2 members of the account can

      • Ian McDowall says:

My wife and I are in a household account and I registered us both from my phone.
My daughter who is not in my household account is having the issue everyone else is having. I’ve tried for and can’t do it either.

  • Keiths says:

2 out of 3 family accounts registered.
    Still can’t do my account.
Tried for 2 days, 4 different devices, 2 different browsers.

  • Manar says:

Hmm. Has anyone who is the lead account for a household been able to register?

Ours was also 2 of 3 but notably the failing account is the lead account….

  • lawrence says:

Zero problem at all, it took seconds.

  • Fiona Veitch says:

Same issue not acceptable- is this their way of limiting entries?
