Accor launches a (cancellable) Spring hotel sale in Europe

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty scheme for Novotel, Fairmont, Ibis, Mercure etc, has launched a Spring sale.

What is interesting is sale rooms seem to be fully cancellable and do not require pre-payment.

Regular readers will know that Hilton and IHG often do hotel sales claiming prices are ‘20% – 30% off our flexible rate’ but making the sale rate NON flexible.

Fairmont Windsor Park sale

Accor has done the opposite. The sale is advertised as ‘20% off our flexible rate’ and you are STILL getting a flexible rate.

Take Fairmont Windsor Park, the country house hotel just outside London – image above.

For 17th – 19th March, the sale rate is the cheapest possible rate at £775 for two nights even though it fully cancellable. The Advanced Saver rate, non-refundable, is £823!

You need to be an Accor Live Limitless member to book the sale rates today. The sale opens to everyone else tomorrow.

The rules are:

  • book by 23rd February
  • stay between 3rd March and 30th April
  • discount fixed at 20% off flexible rate
  • must stay at least two nights
  • valid in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Poland

The ALL site is here. The sale isn’t mentioned but, as long as you are logged in, the discount rates will show.
