IHG One Rewards has just been announced as the official hotel partner of the Six Nations rugby championships and to celebrate has added a pile of tickets to its IHG Access platform.

There were some ‘Buy It Now’ tickets available but these went within a few minutes. I have rewritten this article to focus on the auctions.

Here are the auction options:

  • Bid for two Category A tickets and a pitchside tour before the game

Scotland vs England, 24th February

Log into the IHG Access reward platform here to bid.

    Great redemption.
Everyone knows how hard it is to get 6 nations tickets for England, Ireland, Scotland, and France games. 😉

WOW 380k+ Points already for the Murrayfield package….

    • Rob says:

What’s amusing is that the golf package has been sat at 155,000 points for literally weeks and weeks, but suddenly IHG gets a big inflex of sports fans from its email today and it jumps to 270,000.

      • barry cutters says:

To be fair the whole thing isn’t particularly well known about.
Ive spoken to plenty of target audience middle aged people in IHG lounges/bars who have never heard of it.

        Ive had

What happened to all the other comments from yesterday on this article (incl some strangely dated ones)?

  • ianM says:

I think a ‘pile of tickets’ is a bit of an overstatement, looks like only 2 tickets were available for each match, no suggestion there was any more than one ‘package’.
When did these go on sale cos I only got an email from IHG yesterday.

    • barry cutters says:

There were more than 2 per game, as I got 4 for the Scotland England match and 2 for England Ireland.

      • ianM says:

        Ah…so that’s where they went !

        • Barry cutters says:

Getting the 2nd pair for thr Scotland game was actually an accident . I didn’t think it had gone through as i had a dead screen but refreshed it and did it again .

Email came through at 2 sets and 65k was deducted twice

  • tony says:

There are currently two tickets (together) available on the RFU site for England v Wales at a punchy £194 each, block L22. These things are coming up.

  • JWCurtin says:

How much were the buy it now prices for England vs Ireland out of interest – they would be considered gold dust.

    • Rob says:

One game was 150k – it could have been that one.

      • Barry cutters says:

        150k for 2 x England Ireland
        65k for 2 x Scotland England
All others were 50-65k for 2x tickets

  • The real Swiss Tony says:

The prices still show up. England v Wales was 120k for the pair https://www.auctions.ihg.com/englandvswales2cscoretwoticketstothe2024guinnessme/isynmv1/aucd/4915625.

Really surprised the Calcutta Cup was half that.
