Two UK properties have left Hilton this month.

In Glasgow, DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa & Golf Resort left the group on Tuesday. It is now operating as an independent hotel.

Meanwhile, DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry left on 4th December. It is also now trading independently.

Hilton loses two UK hotels

Both properties are part of QHotels.

QHotels has also recently unbranded Delta Hotels by Marriott Cheltenham Chase. It was exactly five years since the hotel adopted the Delta brand so it is likely that the contract hit a break clause and QHotels decided to walk away.

Looking at their website, only two QHotels properties are still branded – DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford Upon Avon and Delta Hotels by Marriott Nottingham Belfry.

I wouldn’t put any money on these two remaining long term, especially Nottingham Belfry which is listed without its ‘Delta’ prefix on the QHotels website.
