NEW: Redeem Accor points for tickets for the ALL Terrace at OVO Arena Wembley

Accor Live Limitless has launched a new long term partnership with OVO Arena Wembley – or what you probably still call Wembley Arena.

This is the art deco concert venue directly opposite the football stadium. At 12,500 seats, it is the second largest concert venue in London after The O2 which can hold 20,000.

I was there for the launch on Wednesday and, frankly, the ALL Terrace (as it is known) beats the Marriott Bonvoy and Virgin Red boxes at The O2 hands down in terms of how close you are to the stage.

I will review my experience at the launch event next week. I want to keep it separate so we can link back to it in future.

We will also be running a competition soon to give away a pair of tickets to an upcoming concert.

For now, I just want to highlight the first five concerts to be made available.

What can you book at OVO Arena Wembley?

There are currently five concerts available to book via the ALL Limitless Experiences website here:

  • Lenny Kravitz, Friday 28th February, 20000 points for two people
  • Teddy Swims, Thursday 6th and Friday 7th March, 12000 points for two people
  • Loserville / Limp Bizkit, Sunday 16th March, 6000 points for two people
  • Destroy Lonely, Wednesday 2nd April, 4000 points for two people
  • Sean Paul & Ashanti, Friday 18th April, 8000 points for two people
ALL Terrace Wembley Arena

Each package gets you:

  • two tickets for the ALL Terrace
  • use of the premium entrance (this is behind the arena)
  • access to the Heroes lounge
  • one food item per guest (the biggest thing you can get is a large pizza)
  • three drinks per guest (beer, wine, single spirits, soft drinks)

Is this good value?

Looking at the pricing above, it seems that a bit of market testing is going on. An Accor point is worth exactly 2 Eurocents when put towards a hotel booking so you can do the maths pretty easily.

However, without pre-empting my review, you can’t easily compare the ALL Terrace to the cost of standard seats. You have a dedicated area with totally unobstructed views of the stage. The seats are 20 seconds from the entrance to the Heroes lounge, and if that’s too much effort there is waiter service at your seat.

The food and drink is worth around £70 between you if you both have a pizza and use all three drinks vouchers.

ALL Terrace Wembley Arena

Obviously, given its age and listed building status, OVO Arena Wembley is never going to match the facilities that The O2 can deliver. However, in terms of the concert going experience, being so close to the stage on Wednesday night (for Toto and Christopher Cross) was a major upgrade on The O2 suites.

Accor’s biggest issue with the arena is going to be the line up. In general, apart from acts who deliberately want to play a smaller venue, it attracts people who can’t sell out The O2. You are getting relatively smaller names – although anyone who can sell out a 12,500 seat arena is not exactly small fry.

As I said, a full review will follow as will a competition to win some tickets. The competition will not be for the five concerts above, so if any of the names above appeal then jump in now.

Earning Accor Live Limitless points

Accor is the largest hotel group in the world outside the Americas, so there are no shortage of ibis, Novotel, Pullman, Mercure, Sofitel, Raffles etc hotels where you can earn.

Our full overview of Accor Live Limitless is here.

There are no credit card partnerships, directly or indirectly. You CAN transfer Avios into Accor Live Limitless points via Qatar Airways Privilege Club but the rate isn’t great at 4.5 to 1 – read more here. You can also do it via Finnair Plus Avios but the rate is a little worse at 4.6 to 1.

  • Olly says:

Will tickets be made for all events as with the boxes at the O2 or only a selection?

    • Rob says:

Everything unless the arena is configured differently. Paw Patrol Live for example can’t be done for some reason.

Of course Accor may choose to use some tickets for internal purposes, like the pair we will give away next week.

  • May Lim says:

Can the Accor member redeem the tickets & give it away or he must be one of the ticket holders? Looking to gift my sister & her husband as they are UK based & I am Malaysian based.

    Thanks

    • Rob says:

Rules probably say no but in reality it should be fine. Terrace has 8 seats and Accor is giving them all out so unlike The O2 there will not be an Accor person there every night. Venue does not ask for ID BUT security have your name on a list so the guest needs to know who booked.

The VIP entrance is genuinely that. Only a handful of people get access and the names are on a list.

Have just redeemed 6,000 points for a concert. Haven’t received email confirmation but it is showing as “ordered” on my Accor Experiences account.

Intrigued how the ticket is distributed, believe it says it will arrive no more then four days before

    • Rob says:

You’ll need to download the AXS app, using the same email address that Accor holds for you. The tickets are uploaded to the app.

      • JL says:

Thank you! Event is still a month away – have gotten the initial confirmation email. It’s a pretty exciting proposition for someone who lives next door to the arena

        • Rob says:

As you know what this will mean …. the VIP entrance involves walking down the side of the arena that faces the Hilton. Walk past the two entrances on that side, don’t try to enter. When you reach the back of the arena you will see a decorated pathway which lets you enter from the rear.

Transferred 27k avios to 6k accor reward points yesterday afternoon. Glad it didn’t take the advertised 10 days and I was able to redeem for tickets this morning!
