Heading to Gatwick? Sign up to myGatwick for parking and fast track discounts

If you have a flight out of London Gatwick, you should register for myGatwick.

myGatwick is a part of the airport website that few people know about, although it is fair to say that the benefits are well below their pre-pandemic best.

You can create an account and log in here.

Benefits of myGatwick

The site has changed in the last year. You used to be able to enter your flight details and then receive a targetted list of offers based on your departure terminal and time of day.

This has now gone, to be replaced (at the moment) by four generic deals.

That said, they are still worth knowing about. You get:

  • 10% off Official Gatwick Parking
  • 20% off Gatwick Premium Security
  • 20% off Fast Track passport control
  • 10% off Reserve & Collect at World Duty Free

This is, frankly, a very thin list and only a small fraction of what you were offered pre pandemic. However, it is still worth registering if you need parking or want to use the fast track services.

You can sign up for myGatwick at the airport website here.

Used this at Christmas to buy two fast track passes. The fast track discount says it’s only available at the North terminal but it works at the South one as well.

Also note if you book parking through the app to benefit from the 10% off, if you try to modify the booking it takes back the 10% so you have to cancel and rebook.

There’s a 10% rebate on Gatwick Parking on my Halifax, BoS, and MBNA accounts too at the moment.

I just used this alongside a 20% offer Gatwick emailed me, managed to get 19 days this summer for less than what 1 week at Heathrow cost for our other trip this year.

Used to be good when you could get a free coffee at Pret with this.

I got 20% off Parking by using a direct link earlier this month. But the price of car parking at LGW is astronomical this year. Look at the costs for both terminals and book the cheapest as the two terminals are connected by train. I saved £50 that way.

At Christmas, the prices were all over the place from one day to the next. So it’s worth checking back – I swapped from the long stay to the short stay and saved about £30.

for anybody who followed your advice and got Platinum Status with Club Avolta – it also gives 10% off duty free purchases at Gatwick

Travelled through Gatwick one morning last week. Used Fastrack and it was very quiet. No removal of liquids, iPads etc. BA lounge was quiet and the cocktail bars were quiet too.
