Radisson Rewards has launched a new ‘multi stay’ bonus points promotion.

It seems that Radisson is slowly dipping its toe back into the offers market, with the two promotions they ran last year being the first since 2022.

A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then. The North American arm of Radisson was bought by Choice Hotels and removed from the Radisson Rewards programme, and the ‘rest of the world’ rump underwent a ludicrous ‘no notice’ devaluation.

Radisson Rewards launches a new bonus points promotion

The value of a point dropped overnight from roughly 0.33p (and far more on a good day) to a fixed cash discount of 0.15p to 0.2p per point redeemed.

I can’t begin to imagine what life must be like if you work for Radisson now. You have hotels in North America which carry your brands but are no longer part of your business, and you alienated the most loyal of your non-Americas guests via the worst overnight devaluation ever seen. No wonder Radisson Edwardian sold the bulk of its hotels, with the new owner rebranding them.

However ….

The majority of HfP readers are currently able to claim a year of Radisson Rewards VIP status (the top tier) for free.

This is an exceptional deal because it gives you an automatic upgrade to the best non-suite room available at check-in (some hotels include suites too) and free breakfast. Full details are in this article and the Radisson part of our forum has a thread dedicated to readers reporting their upgrades.

Register for bonus points

If you are booking Radisson cash stays to take advantage of your VIP status, you should register for this new offer before booking.

The promotion runs until 24th April.

You can register here. Importantly, bookings made before registration do not count.

You receive:

  • 500 bonus points on your first stay (worth 75p to £1!)
  • 3,000 bonus points on your second stay (worth £4.50 to £6)
  • 3,500 bonus points on your third stay (worth £5.25 to £7)

There is no minimum stay requirement, which is arguably the one saving grace.

You’re not getting rich from the bonus points, but if you are doing the stays anyway – whether due to your VIP status or just because Radisson is convenient for where you need to be – you might as well register.

You can find out more, and register, on the Radisson Hotels website here.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (March 2025)

Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards.

These cards earn Membership Rewards points:

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.

Even better, holders of The Platinum Card receive free Radisson Rewards Premium status for as long as they hold the card.  It also comes with Hilton Honors Gold, Marriott Bonvoy Gold and MeliaRewards Gold status.

We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here. You can apply here.

Got a small business?

You can get free top-tier Radisson Rewards VIP status with the new Capital on Tap Pro Visa credit card for small business. Clck here to apply.
