Get £100 cashback on £500 spend at the InterContinental London Park Lane hotel

American Express has launched an interesting deal with IHG’s InterContinental London Park Lane.

On the face of it, it’s not too exciting.

It only runs to 31st March and you ‘only’ get £100 cashback for spending £500. You need to register if targetted via the ‘Offers’ tab on the Amex website or in the app.

Cumulative spend is OK. In theory pre-paid bookings, for any date, do not qualify although in reality there is a very decent chance that a pre-paid room works.

American Express deal at Intercontinental Park Lane

Our hotel booking partner Emyr Thomas has an impressive package for this hotel and it will stack with the cashback offer, assuming you stay by 31st March.

This is what bookings via Emyr will get you:

  • FREE access to the executive lounge, Club InterContinental, which normally requires a chunky additional fee – this means you get free breakfast, via the lounge, plus afternoon and evening light bites and drinks
  • a GUARANTEED one level upgrade which is processed at the time of booking

There is also a ‘3rd night free’ deal:

  • for bookings completed by 30th June 2025, you will receive one night free when you book for three or more nights

Bookings via Emyr are priced at the same Best Flexible Rate that you see on the IHG website. You pay on departure as usual so there are no issues (if you stay by 31st March) getting the £100 cashback on top.

You can contact Emyr via the form on this page of HfP.

The InterContinental London Park Lane website is here if you want to find out more.

If you bought Ambassador status as part of your stay, does that get charged to your room folio or is it a transaction direct with IHG?

Any chance of the Hilton/ Marriot / Hyatt amex offers coming back soon? Holding off on making reservations in the hope but can only hold out so long…

For the last 3 years the Marriott ones appeared in April on dates varying from 2nd to 21st.

These offers don’t seem to be available on BA PP.
It seems BA PP is worse for getting offers.

    • Andrew J says:

It varies from person to person, it’s on my BAPP which gets much better offers than my Platinum.

      • The real Swiss Tony says:

Same for me. This is on my BA card and typically that has the better offers on it.

    • NorthernLass says:

On my BAPP, I started a thread about it yesterday.

Not on my personal plat, but showing on my business gold 🤷🏼‍♂️

… Amex offer algos make no sense!

On neither of our cards 😶

  • Andy says:

Likewise, not on my BAPP despite several stays charged to the card at the ICPL previously

Shame, a few london restaurant offers on there and would have made a long weekend out of it if the hotel offer was there
