Hilton Honors and ALL (Accor Live Limitless) have added some interesting new UK points redemptions for anyone who doesn’t want to see another hotel room in their free time!

Let’s start with Hilton Honors.

The new Football Association and Wembley Stadium partnerships continue to ramp up.

Hilton Honors at Wembley stadium

You can currently bid for:

  • VIP hospitality for The ELF Championship Play-Off at Wembley on 24th May – bid here (bidding closes after the first semi-final second leg but before the second semi-final second leg!)
  • VIP hospitality for England Lionesses vs Portugal at Wembley on 30th May – bid here
  • Standard tickets for England Lionesses vs Portugal at Wembley on 30th May – bid here
  • Standard tickets for England vs Senegal in Nottingham on 2nd June – bid here
  • VIP hospitality to see Dua Lipa at Wembley on 20th June, including a hotel stay – bid here
  • VIP hospitality to see Guns ‘N Roses at Wembley on 26th June, including a hotel stay – bid here
  • VIP hospitality to see Lana Del Ray at Wembley on 3rd June, including a hotel stay – bid here

There were some ‘buy it now’ packages on Friday for the Wembley concerts at a crazily cheap 100,000 Hilton Honors points for two (with full VIP hospitality). They went so quickly that they were sold out before I even saw them.

My article on how the VIP hospitality at Wembley works is here.

You can also bid for Hilton’s annual McLaren F1 VIP packages for the British Grand Prix. These tend to go for crazy amounts of points so I’m not going to focus on them, but you can find details on the Hilton Experiences site. There is one 3-day VIP package available plus separate packages for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Oddly, the 3-day VIP package is currently selling for less than the race day package, even though the former has everything that the race day package includes PLUS entry and a hotel for the previous two days!

It isn’t clear if the Friday drinks party on the roof of the Hilton Garden Inn at Silverstone will return this year.

Remember that American Express Membership Rewards points convert at 1:2 into Hilton Honors points. There are currently two excellent special offers running:

All Terrace wembley arena

Got Accor Live Limitless hotel points?

Accor Live Limitless has added some new events at OVO Arena Wembley.

These give you access to the exclusive ALL Terrace, which I explained here.

The current redemptions are (all pricing is for two and includes three free drinks per person plus exceptionally good seats):

  • Andre Rieu – 8th and 9th May – 8,500 ALL points
  • Billy Idol – 24th June – 7,000 ALL points
  • Lara Fabian – 3rd June – 9,000 ALL points
  • Jeff Dunham – 13th June – 4,500 ALL points

You can redeem your points for the ALL Terrace on the Accor website here.

Accor is the largest hotel group in the world outside the Americas, so there are no shortage of ibis, Novotel, Pullman, Mercure, Sofitel, Raffles etc hotels where you can earn. Our full overview of Accor Live Limitless is here if you want to find out more about how the scheme works.

There are no credit card partnerships, directly or indirectly. You CAN transfer Avios into Accor Live Limitless points via Qatar Airways Privilege Club but the rate isn’t great at 4.5 to 1 – read more here. It may work for you if there is an act you are very keen to see and tickets are otherwise unavailable.

Anyone been to one of the Wembley games? Whereabouts in the stadium are the standard tickets? Points-wise don’t seem a bargain given general pricing – especially if seat position unknown / not great.

  • Kevin C says:

Was delighted to get concert tickets, though I appreciate the hospitality element might annoy those who grew up watching Dua Lipa from the terraces.

I wonder if the offering is different for concerts. The Bobby Moore suite goes full buffet for gigs but One Twenty still has a dinner it seems. Presumably they don’t offer pies before the encore.

The Men’s FA Cup final packages went for 500,000 points (Women’s went for 150,000). I wonder if any Villa fans who got them are now looking for takers.

Haha ( would have been) guilty as charged, as it turned out I wouldn’t have been able to get enough points together ( 330k max )
Would have been a dodgy gamble given our recent record against Palace, and it turned out that way again, full credit to them, even our fans were outsung by the Nigels…

  • John says:

You can “buy” Accor points through the signature program. It gives you about 5000 a month and a bonus 5000 every 3 or 4 months – not sure. You do not get nights, just status points. 1000 a month.

    • Kevin C says:

Yes, it is 5000 a month. The bonus 5000 is every three months. There have been occasional discount offers for subscriptions.

    • Rob says:

We will focus on this at some point. I want to try it myself first but it hasn’t really fitted in with my plans yet (there are only a small number of hotel statuses I can manage at any one time).

  • Ian says:

    The ELF Championship playoff……?

  • Dirtyneedlebluesky says:

Shame no League One (or Two) Playoff option.

    • Swiss Jim says:

Agreed. I’ve been hoping for them. Though not going to be tricky to get hold of paid.

  • Simon Schus says:

Will Hilton being doing a new points promo starting in May? The current points promo ends this week (end of April)

    • Rob says:

It would be VERY unlike Hilton not to launch a new one quickly, especially with the weakness in the market, but nothing has appeared so far.
