As summer approaches, we wanted to take another look at the popular group of resort hotels, Domes Resorts.

With recent enhancements and the introduction of Domes Novos Santorini and 91 Athens Riviera last year, the brand has gone from strength to strength.

With many of the resorts enrolled in Marriott Bonvoy, Domes Aulus Elounda part of Hilton’s Curio Collection and Domes White Coast Milos part of Small Luxury Hotels (bookable via Hilton Honors) many of our readers have been tempted to visit these luxury properties.

Domes Resorts special offers

Two resorts not enrolled with either Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors – Domes Noruz Mykonos and Domes Noruz Kassandra – have now been added to the Mr & Mrs Smith portfolio. This means you can earn and spend World of Hyatt points at these properties.

I visited Domes Aulus Zante, Autograph Collection and Domes of Corfu, Autograph Collection back in 2023 on a review trip – click the links to see what I thought.

It was actually my second trip to Domes of Corfu following a cash stay in 2022. I remain a fan of the hotel, having gone on to recommend it to multiple friends who have also enjoyed their holidays there. Rob had a very good paid stay at Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection a couple of years ago.

Domes Resorts: New Openings and Enhancements

In 2024, Domes Resorts expanded its collection with the opening of Domes Novos Santorini (read Katie’s review here), offering 50 suites and two villas, each with private pools, catering to families.

Additionally, whilst not part of the Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton family, 91 Athens Riviera looks an intriguing concept – a unique ‘private lifestyle members’ club with ultra-luxe glamping, featuring 30 spacious ‘cabanas’, all with air conditioning and many with private plunge pools.

There are tennis courts, as well as both personal training and group classes including yoga, pilates and circuits, which might be in a secluded cabana equipped with state of the art equipment, or on the beach under the Athenian sun.

Existing properties will also see significant upgrades this season:

  • Domes of Corfu (Marriott Bonvoy): A heated main pool, room enhancements, and a new Splash Park near the kids club.
  • Domes Aulūs Zante (Marriott Bonvoy): Revamped landscaping, a stylish food truck zone, and extended terraces for ground-floor bungalows.

  • Domes Noruz Kassandra (World of Hyatt via Mr and Mrs Smith): Enhanced beach club, introduced a ‘Secret Pool’ concept, and plans to rebrand Topos restaurant to Antonino’s Italian Restaurant and Bar.
  • Domes of Elounda (Marriott Bonvoy): Launched the Vilebrequin Plage Experience, redesigned the family pool with Neema Boutique’s aesthetic, added reformer pilates to the mix in the Botanic Garden and introduced the Terra Kids Camp by KIDOT.

In 2024, Domes Resorts won four awards at the World Travel Awards, including ‘World’s Leading Leisure Resort 2024‘ for Domes Zeen Chania and ‘World’s Leading Resort Brand 2024‘ for the second year running.

In addition, nine properties out of 14 have now been officially recognised by Michelin for 2025, with seven ‘recommended’ and two, namely Domes Zeen Chania and Domes White Coast Milos awarded Michelin Keys for 2025 for delivering ‘world class hospitality and exceptional service’.

Makris Athens Fine Dining completes the Michelin awards with the earning of its first Michelin Star in December 2024.

How does Domes Resorts compare to IKOS Reasorts? I’ve stayed at IKOS a few times but have been tempted to try Domes…..

Personally I first did Elounda 2019, then Miramare, domes of Corfu all stays were Haute Living, from these I would rate Elounda 9/10 (exceptional points booking that was cash upgraded to HL), Miramare 8/10, DofC 7/10, then June 24 stayed at Aulus Zante 5/10, the management admitted they struggled with staffing levels, food, drinks, facilities average. Ikos I have done Dassia, Oceania, Olivia and just returned from Aria, I rate all my Ikos stays very highly 9/10.

I know it is an advertorial, but some example pricing with the discount at different locations might arouse a bit more interest!

    • Lumma says:

There’s prices in the linked reviews to be fair. I think they range from reasonable to quote a lot of money

  • TonyH says:

From what I can make out these deals require booking directly with Domes and there is no possibility to use the promo code ‘MBO’ when going via Hilton/Marriott etc. It’s either points OR get a deal. Am I missing something?

  • Anouj says:

Domes Zeen is masquerading as 5 star but the standard of the rooms is poor. Lots of wear and tear. I think it used to be a tui hotel or similar.

Domes Miramare is beautiful. Highly reccomend and there’s some local restaurants nearby so you’re not isolated. Not too far from Corfu old town either.
