As you can see from the picture below, the Hilton Garden Inn hotel at Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester occupies a unique position.

Many of the rooms directly overlook the pitch, allowing you to watch a game from your balcony.

This allows Hilton to offer some unique cricket redemptions to Hilton Honors members, both in the hotel itself and other parts of the stadium

Question – do the windows open on the pitch facing rooms?
The number of hotels I’ve stayed in recently with sealed windows and a reliance on aircon is tearful.

Nothing like this being published this morning and getting outbid a few hours later…

Tried to bid for Foo Fighters last summer… price got out of hand

Recently stayed at the hotel when Springsteen was on (handy location as tram stop right outside so even though was in wrong side of town was still convenient and much cheaper than elsewhere). Parking included

My Hilton Gold (through Amex Plat) got me upgraded from cheapest room to Clive Lloyd Suite (one of top 4 rooms). Very underwhelming- has a second room with cheap furniture and a Nespresso machine. Bed is still only Queen size. But a concert night in Manchester (Kylie also playing, as were Man City) for £128 B&B (Free Gold breakfast) was very good value. Booked early,..

Coincidentally, good morning from a pitch-view room at this very hotel. Have stayed here a few times for work trips or visiting family. It was a very reasonable £130 flexible rate last night including a good breakfast and free parking. There’s a tram stop a few yards away if you need to get into Manchester city centre.
Yes, the balconies open. No cricket match today but it’s nice and quiet, watching the ground staff tend the immaculate pitch. Views would be superb if there’s a match on.
