Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

Sainsbury’s and Nectar

In January 2021, Avios dropped its long-standing partnership with Tesco and agreed a new deal with Sainsbury’s.

As part of this, Nectar points and Avios became interchangeable.  400 Nectar points become 250 Avios, whilst 300 Avios become 400 Nectar points.

As a Nectar point is worth 0.5p when spent in Sainsbury’s or Argos, your Avios now have a minimum value of 0.67p each.

The articles below explain the partnership in detail as well as explaining how you can earn and spend Nectar points.
