Can I force BA to pay for a taxi to Heathrow, in exchange for the domestic flight?

I think it would depend on other options/time of day. So if the time of day meant a train was feasible I’d guess a taxi would be unlikely. But depending on number of passengers on the booking, train cost versus taxi cost likely to be a factor. What you may get at MCOL if you dispute with BA and organise yourself, and what BA offer unlikely to be the same. Depends on attitude to risk and willingness to fork out up front yourself.
