Yes that is correct.
What is confusing is how you wrote your additional post which then caused some confusion with those replying but we got there in the end.
Sorry about that, guess maybe it read differently to others than the way it sounded in my head!
So TL;DR is that whatever the journey would cost for 2 PAX in Avios plus taxes, the voucher makes it cost 50% of the stated Avios, but taxes remain the same. Which in itself is fine, I did not buy my points just got them from SUB and hotels and shopping that I had to do. So to pay potentially £450 per person of cash to book a Business Class experience is nothing in my view.
