Baggage allowance on code-share and interline journeys
Does your journey include travel on an airline other than Qatar Airways (including Qatar Airways code-share flights such as those of Cathay Pacific)? If so, that airline may offer you a lower baggage allowance. Baggage allowances on code-share routes are determined by IATA’s Most Significant Marketing Carrier (MSC) rule.
Where a code-share or interline flight is part of an itinerary that begins or ends in the USA. or Canada, baggage allowances and charges applicable at the itinerary’s origin will apply throughout.
If you are booking a journey that includes a code-share flight with another carrier, please contact us to confirm your baggage allowance.
