Officially, the terms have stated since October that you will no longer receive a pro-rata refund on cancellation. However, HfP exclusively advises that pro-rata refunds will in fact continue until at least 29 February 2024. That of course relies upon Amex not changing its mind/doing the dirty and imposing the terms that are formally in force.
