Any recommendations for Mexico City and/or Cancun? There is a suprising range of restaurants available, compared to say nearby Miami.
In CDMX – San Angel Inn for lunch.
If you were to go to San Angel Inn it’s right next door to the Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera studio (not FK’s house) which you don’t need to pre-book (unlike the house) and if you go at a weekend, the San Antonio market is full of interesting things as well as live music and lots of cafés in the square.
Not on the Plat list, but we like Arango (also for lunch, great food and it’s on a high floor with views over Republic monument) and Raíz. On the Plat list, avoid Azul.
