That’s a very broad question! What do you like doing? There’s scope for quite a variety of activities in all three cities.
E.g. museums, walking tours, day trips, river cruises, sporting activities.
Have to say, as OH is a military history geek, I’d be interested in visiting the Eagle’s Nest from Salzburg, apparently you can only do that in the summer months. Nice mountain scenery would be a plus for me.
We’ve also done walking tours in Munich & Vienna (through Viator) and really enjoyed them. The fabulously-named Schatzkammer (Imperial Treasury) in Vienna is a must-do if you like weird/wonderful historical objects, I’ve done it twice now!
