I’ve just had two fraudulent transactions last week, within 5 mins of each other. No in app approval was requested, both for approx £1000. The transactions were both from e.on the energy supplier. We are not even with them! I froze the card immediately and shortly after another transaction was declined for $1 from google. I suspect someone trying to set it up on googlepay. I’ve had no scam phone calls, the only thing I have done is recently changed to an iphone from android. I still have the android in my possession. Curve had no phone number that I could find so immediately did the online chat and then received an email. Still no response from them. I also contacted the underlying credit card’s fraud team and they are investigating and send me a form to complete. What an absolute nightmare. I have never locked my curve card, use it online for tesco, amazon to get the cashback plus HMRC. Any advice gratefully received. Once this is sorted I’ll be cancelling my Curve Metal!
