It is very annoying, plus you have to click through to the payment page for all the taxes etc to be added and appear so you know what the full price is (which can be double the headline quote). I can’t see any way to change this as you can on the website.

It’s also useful to see the price in GBP if you’re pre-paying to trigger an Amex offer and need to spend a minimum amount.
