@tontoro I called in the day before to ask if it could be done in advance but the answer was no, so lots of faffing about when I picked up the car. There’s an extra charge, I can’t remember how much but I’d say £50, maybe more and yes just tell them at the desk.
Do you know which route you’re taking into Lesotho and where are you heading? I chose a very strange way in (google maps kept trying to take me a different way) but I liked my route 🙂 Telle Bridge border post, not a single car around when I arrived. But I was going south to north so you wont use that one.
They charge 100 rand tourist fee at the border, so make sure you have cash.
