Hi
I have recently earned a 241 Companion on my BAPP having spent just over 10k in the first 3 months. My deadline was Jan 2024. Because I also have an Avios Barclays, I decided that BAPP held no value for me anymore, so downgraded to a standard BA Amex. I fully expected my companion voucher timeline to not be reset until next year BUT it’s not reflecting as “Spend 2k before Jan 2024 to get a companion”.
Is this right? I know these vouchers are not as valuable as the BAPP ones, but is it right that I am eligible for another if I hit my 12k? I didn’t think this was the case.
Thanks
Alex
I think it’s an IT glitch and you don’t actually get another voucher, from what people have posted previously.
