Morning all. I was issued the £400 travel credit recently with Amex Platinum deal from last year. I’ve booked a hotel and the statement credit has appeared. My stay is in August but just wondered if anyone knows if I cancel my card now whether it will invalidate the travel credit or will be fine as already paid and credited.

Hi – yes, that was fine for me. I stayed in Dec 2024 having cancelling the card in early November without issue.
