-
Please keep us updated on this! If it works for you I’ll do the same as I have around £80 left to use.
Info so far is that when I made the purchase, Google Pay flashed up on my phone* saying I’d spend £25 at Stripe, so I thought “Oh no, that means it’s recorded as belonging to the payment provider rather than the seller”. But looking on my online statement now it shows as IVY COLLECTION LONDON, so fingers crossed that in a few days the credit will appear. Will update here if/when it does.
* The transaction wasn’t via Google Pay, but it seems to alert for transactions made with the physical card for amex, which it doesn’t for other cards of mine

The original Ivy, the West Street one, was never on the list. But have just received my credit form there.

This happened because you have enabled notifications on Google Pay for this card and any transactions made through it.
I can confirm that gift cards in Ivy York (bought in store) worked for activating the credit. Good thing thinking that the whole family is down with the most uncommon common cold :/

I dined at Duck and Waffle and received the credit. My bill was £111.I had to pay £60 deposit in advance and paid £51 after my meal. Only £51 was credited to my statement. I enquired with Amex via online chat. They told me that the £60 deposit was outside the t&c of the offer because it was paid via a payment processor but they would see what they could do. Around a week later the £60 was also credited to my statement.
I am currently facing the same issue with Yauatcha. I havent received credit for the £100 they charged us in advance. Complaint raised with Amex
I had the same issue KP – I raised it as an issue via chat, but need to follow up again.
Ivy Edinburgh are out of gift cards. Advised to buy online but that’s not going to work for this.
Went to the Ivy Brasserie in Oxford last Saturday, food and drink bill of £116 and added £80 gift card to the bill – so one transaction of £196 total which tracked this morning. Pretty happy with that!
Just used the credit to buy gift cards in the Ivy Birmingham. Original plan was breakfast too, but I hadn’t prebooked and they were busy.
Looks like it has gone through as restaurant spend (still pending), so hopefully the credit will be issued without a hitch.
Any data points on how long its taking for credits to hit accounts?
Yauatcha’s patisserie also triggers the offer
We ate at The Cut at 45 Park Lane on Sunday. The £200 has turned up in the savings tab today, though it isn’t reflected in the balance.
We had an extremely good meal. Might be a bit out of my price range without the rebate though.I just bought a giftcard for The Ivy at the Blackheath Cafe outlet. It’s obviously not appeared on my statement yet, but they used the same card machines as for customers at the tables, and my credit card receipt says “The Ivy Cafe Blackheath”, so I’m confident it should all work out OK.

I used mine at Veeraswamy in London on 19 Nov, credit hit my account on 20 Nov.

I mentioned yesterday that I’d used mine at The Ivy Oxford last Saturday (18th Dec), it tracked yesterday and credit is on my account this morning.
Has anyone been able to get vouchers over the phone?
Are we thinking no chance the offer is extended?
We had dinner at Frog by Adam Handling on Wednesday and the credit was already on my account the next day. I was very impressed with how quickly it turned up! It was a fabulous meal but don’t think we would have done it without the £200 credit.
£200 credit for buying The Ivy gift cards (in the restaurant) posted for me this morning. Pretty fast, purchased on the 23rd, credit on the 26th.
Frustrating to hear both that the offer could be used at The Ivy Wimbledon and for vouchers bought in the restaurant after I left the country until the new year. Shane it’s not going to be extended.

Lots of locations outside the UK you can use the offer!
Can Ivy vouchers be used in any Ivy restaurant?
Not where I am unfortunately.
This was a reply to Andrew J but on mobile there’s no way of knowing. Too late to edit and will use quote functionality in future.

Update: Amex have said they will manually apply the credit in 1-2 days
Hi @dcsprior – could you please let us know if the Ivy GC online test tracked against the credit please?
