Does anyone know if the Waitrose in Canary Wharf counts as waitrose or JL as I think upstairs is. JL.

Upstairs is JL, downstairs is Waitrose

10% at LNER (Don’t forget to stack with Nectar 10pts/£ at Nectar Connect).

5% Curry’s on transactions over £100 every time.

And remember that the Amex LNER offer can be used for any National Rail ticket purchase – not just LNER services.

Just bought some train tickets from SWR this evening – wish I’d seen this post earlier. Thanks for the reminder – next time!

So if I brought a gift card upstairs it should qualify for the offer?

Something else I’ve noticed about Amex offers recently is that they’re not standing out from the crowd anymore – spend £250 get 10% back at Liberty popped up today on my Platinum and that’s been on my Barclaycard for a few weeks, and many others are the same too.

Depends if it redirects from the main website – if it does then no.

    Spotted this morning:

Spend £100 get back £20 at Lululemon on my BAPPs (all SUPs too) – was about to cancel this card, I guess not this month!
10% back at Marks Electrical on I think Plat, BAPP and Nectar (super annoying as I just brought all the appliances for my new kitchen)
20% off at Cath Kidson – across several cards

It’s great to be able to grab the discounts via multiple routes though, and the Amex deals tend to be more generous. LBG in particular tend to set the maximum rebate at around £30

Yep, Curve’s discounts are limited as well. Morrisons is limited to £10.

Interesting….would the offer trigger if purchasing a Apple Store gift card?

@TJ it worked for Apple Store GC purchases (online) the last time the offer ran.

Not sure why the offer says iPhone. Does that mean exclusively £80 off one product.

Did the last offer have a similar wording?

It’s simply to catch your interest. They’ve tended to promote the offer in a similar way in the past and it’s always (so far) triggered a rebate on all purchases that meet the spend threshold.

Really wish I could have this offer soon. Not had an Apple offer in a while and going to be making a big purchase soon.

In my experience if I don’t have the offer as soon as someone mentions it on here I won’t get it at all. Unless I have a new card waiting for offers to appear.

98% of the time I agree with you on that, but there have been times where it did appear a few days or even weeks later. Sometimes even on the day the offer was due to expire!

First ever time (I think, and other than the 100% back offers on Platinum last year) John Lewis Amex offer just dropped – not overly groundbreaking at £100 get £10.

Has anyone had the credit back yet from the John Lewis offer?

I did the spend on Monday around 7pm, got an email confirming use of the offer right away. Transaction posted Wednesday, still waiting for credit today (Thursday).

Most credits take a few weeks these days.

I did two transaction at Morrison back to back pre Christmas. One credit came through in a few days the other came through in mid Jan! I hope for sooner!

Does the LNER offer include season tickets? I can see nothing in the Amex terms that excludes them, however in a similar offer from Virgin Money they are specifically excluded – so perhaps billed differently?
