Anyone noticed any delay in offer credits posting recently? Redeemed 2 last weekend (TransPennine Express and Heathrow Express) and got the “You used your x offer” emails, but nothing credited yet. Usually offer credits appears a day or two after the line item posts for me.

Avis get 25% back every time up to £50 spend to be billed by 23.07.24 – frustratingly it is only limited to UK domestic bookings i think

The is a link referenced in offer T&C’s which does not work

There is also an Avios version: spend £300 or more, receive 5k Avios, once. Seen on BAPP. If you have them both, the non-Avios version is better irrespective of spend, unless you are receiving more than 1p per Avios redemption!

Yep, excellent timing as I’m popping there later for something c. 200.

With 10% off, 3% Harrods rewards on the 180, 30 statement credit off that, and MR points on that, c. 143 net, plus a free coffee and biscuit in the cafe 🙂

Are Hilton one of those ‘must be charged in-person’ merchants, or would an online pre-payment be enough to trigger? Hoping to spend a bit of time in HK/Japan in October so the latter would be ideal.

Pre-paid rates are usually fine, Hilton system seems to be set up to charge your card immediately these days.

it did trigger on prepaid overseas booking with statement applied to my account – while the transaction was in the pending status the merchant read something line “AVIS UK Prepaid” but settled onto my card “Avis Central”

Did this trigger the Amex cashback please? I would like to make a x2 prepaid bookings for Hilton doubletree Kyoto but wondering if it will be eligible seeing as it states spend should be in person on checkout. Usually does work for prepaid Netherlands Hiltons with this type of offer…thanks for any feedback.

With these chains it is either all or none. There is no inbetween. With Hilton it is therefore clearly ‘all’.

The only time it fails is with very small chains (Apex I think is one) which do not franchise, and so all pre-payments can be taken via head office.

    Ivy Collection, Ivy Asia £100/£20

and potential stacking (£100/£40) on this one?

Should stack for sure, but I don’t have it on my Platinum, only BAPPs.

The Ivy Asia locations are not listed as participating venues in the Ivy Collection list, so won’t stack.
