Is it now one (smaller) queue for the visa on arrival (paid by card??), then the longer immigration queue?
And that the various fast-track services are a bit pointless if you’re waiting for cases anyway?!
Oops (sorry!) – and has anyone happily used the e-visa on arrival, in order to do that part before arriving?
I wasn’t impressed with my fast track arrival experience in March; wouldn’t book it again. Was effectively dumped at the back of the (business class) priority lines on the left hand side as you look at the immigration staff, rather than the front as it used to be pre pandemic. e-visa on paper worked fine once I got to the front.
I would definitely recommend getting and printing out an e visas; the queue for getting them was back into the corridors huge; as was the /normal/ immigration line.

Cheers, just what I was looking for!
I arrived at lunchtime recently and the queues were filling the arrivals hall, I’ve never seen it like it before in 20+ trips. On departure the queues were backed up to security. A friend arrived today and said it was the sams.
We did evisa as that saves another queue and process !
We used ticbali which appears to be the only vendor left able to offer VIP services and it was worth every penny , we were escorted through an empty VIP lane on the right side.

Thanks, Sam, I saw that most other agencies had disappeared!
Anyone know what it’s like in Jakarta CGK at the moment?
We’re flying to Bali via the cheap Sri Lankan airlines business deal from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta, then a LCC over to Bali. We’ve got 4 hours between flights, but now wondering if that’ll be enough without paying for VIP escort…
