Forums Payment cards American Express Anyone created a certificate of insurance recently with Amex Platinum?

Went to create a certificate of insurance and the benefits are just showing as a blank list.

    Not very helpful.

The amex plat insurance website is awful.
There are broken links that haven’t been fixed for over a year.
There is no obvious easy way to find the full terms and conditions.
There is no way to print a summary of cover with emergency contact details and account number to carry with you in case of need.
The mechanism to check whether “activities” are covered does an exact match so it will tell you “mountain bicycling” is covered but “cycling” is not.

Done it a couple of times during covid and it always worked fine. Did an article on it once.

Agree have also done it fine in the past during covid.

    But struggling now.

Looks like a problem at their end.

The whole site is a mess. I have just managed it for my son and daughter who are about to go off on University ski trips. The fact that there is no policy number is a pain as that is a requirement so we have just used the card number. I am not sure that wafting the certificate around will actually guarantee any treatment.

Amex do appear to be on the skids, and for £650 a year its really not acceptable

Doesnt work on some browsers like mobile safari. Try it on a desktop. Search for ‘AXA Insurance Interstitial’.
