Discuss today's stories:
Earlier this month, I had a cash, club-europe, direct, return BA ticket from LHR to GVA.
The outbound went fine and TP and Avios credited as normal.
The return flight was cancelled on the day of travel and I was automatically assigned KLM flights from GVA to LHR with a short stopover in AMS (still in business).
I now realise from my account that the return flights didnt automatically earn any TP or Avios.
Does anyone know if I am still entitled to the TP given KLM metal, and if so, how much given there were now two flights?
I would assume some TP are due as the booking was made through BA but prefer to check before going through the hassle of claiming.
Thank you.
@Arnerd – you need to ask BA to apply ORC (original routing credit) to give you the TP’s and Avios you would have earned if the flight hadn’t been cancelled. Some suggest that one could also earn these in the programme of the airline(s) you flew with but BA seem to be clamping down on this double dipping.
Thank you. Will submit this request and let you know how it goes…
