Avios ‘Thank You’ appeal – got more Avios!

So a few weeks ago my account was credited
with another 60k points for the avios nhs thank you appeal , these were then taken back (clearly a mistake then )

However yesterday they credited 9440 points again avios thank you appeal

Are these going to be taken back again , has anyone else got them

You made me check my avios balance. I have also received another 9440 miles yesterday as well, which is a very specific amount. I’m no expert, and frankly don’t care enough to try to track down the original T&Cs email, but wasn’t the original offer something like – you’ll receive at least 60K avios, and any prizes that are unclaimed at the end will be split between the rest of you, so you might receive more?

So my guess is that some people didn’t claim their 60k avios in time (the fools…), which have then been divided equally between everyone else who did. Hence such an odd number. Bonus!

The wife got 60,000 Avios a while back with this scheme. Then 2 two months ago got another 60,000. I must ask her to check if they were taken back.
