BA Avios reward ticket booking connection time

Hi all,

In the process of booking an BA avios reward booking. Newcastle – London – Dubai.

On the return leg, the flight from Dubai arrives at 6.15am into London, then flight to Newcastle departs at 7.55am.
As you can see that’s under 2 hours – is this itinerary possible. We always gives ourselves at least 2 hours but I presume BA wouldn’t offer this itinerary if it wasn’t possible.
If we missed the connection due to late arrival of the Dubai flight, would BA accommodate us to try and get out on the next available flight back?

Yes it’s possible and yes they will rebook you into the first available flight.
