Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club BA Companion voucher – booking question

  • 7 posts

    Good morning all,

Quick question I am struggling to find an answer for. We would like to book an open jaw flight on a companion voucher. We have done this before, and works well. My question is – if the booking is for my wife and I (in a household account), and the voucher is in my wife’s account. Can I call BA and make the booking, or does she have to?

    Cheers for any insight!

Yes, you can call to make the booking, but your wife needs to have set you up for third party authorisation first. This can be done inside her BAEC account and you will need the password she has created as you will be asked for it by the BA agent.

    Fantastic.

    Appreciate the reply!

Yes – you can be a third party nominee on her account – or just have her there to go through security on the phone and then you do the rest of the booking.
