BA Holiday Double Tier Points and Part Pay With Avios

Dear all,

Just wondering, if I part-pay with Avios, will I still qualify for tier points?

Planning to book a BA Holiday over Christmas to make the most of the double-tier points offer.

Also, will they give me reduced tier points?

Planning on some 80 tier points (return 160) at the moment.

Using avios to knock a bit off the cost of a BA Hol has no impact on either the avios or tier points earned.

The only concern I have about using avios are the appalling rates offered.

My last holiday booking offered me 6 off for 725 avios. And that was the best value rate and rapidly declined after that
