Any one have any ideas when the next BA/QR/CX sale

Who knows! BA sales are rather like the ones at DFS, they roll around quite frequently. Didn’t we just have one earlier this month? I expect it will depend on how much they can fill the planes once the school holidays are over in the next 14 days. They seem to be reliant on holiday travellers if the ongoing BA Holidays Double Tier Points promo is anything to go by.
Sales are not necessarily anything to look forward to anyway. Often, fares are cheaper outside the sale period. Most of my best value bookings have been randomly cheap fares that popped up outside of official sales.
Some of the best prices I’ve gotten have been outside of a sale.
Often sales will cover the destination you want but not the dates or covers the dates you want but not the destination.
There maybe something over the bank holiday weekend.
Waiting for a sale on one of through three specified airlines seems like loyalty gone wrong to me, just what the airlines love. Do you have any reason not throw this wide open and search all possibility across all dates for your destination and dates? If it’s about avios and TP they can be earned on other airlines too, and paying iver the odds for aviis and TP via higher revenue fares than necessary is a pitfall to be wary of.
