Has anyone used this offer?
Google flight are showing fares at £1000 below the BA website.
I have tried viewing the BA t&Cs and its not clear.
Thanks
Finally found the buried T&Cs and in clause g. Below, the word “reasonable” and “discretion”pretty much rules out and chance of this promise being kept by BA along with action required by BA within 2 days?
The staff at BA don’t even get out of bed in 2 days!!
Will not pay if….
g. British Airways is unable to verify, using reasonable means, that the Lower Online Fare is available. This may be at any time within 2 business days of receiving your claim at the discretion of British Airways;
I’m still curious if any HFP members have has this offer honoured
Yes, it’s so easy to claim and they often round up the voucher too (you should find the site offering the deal, rather than a Google Flights screenshot). Only been rejected once and that was for the biggest and main snag – it has to be on flights from the UK!
It does, inc Cityflyer AFAIK. Give it a go.
Google Flights doesn’t sell plane tickets. It shows offers from companies, which often are out of date.
In order to claim, you’ll need to click through the retailer offering the flight, and make sure the price is still the same and hasn’t changed. Then make sure the terms of the flight are exactly the same as BA’s offer – but if it is, you’re all good to claim 🙂
