Apologies if this is answered in another thread. My question is about the Executive Club Household and/or Family & Friends account.
My son used to be on our household account but I removed him when he had left home permanently. However, I think I have read that it is no longer a requirement for him to be at the same address. If that’s right then it makes sense to add him back so we can share Avios with him.
The F&F wouldn’t help for this – I believe – since there is no sharing (unclear to me what the point is of the F&F … just more convenient for me to book a flight with Avios for him?)
Is it correct that I can add him back to the household account even now he’s at a new address?
Yes you are correct on both points. Same address is no longer required, and F&F is to support booking flights for or with others not pooling Avios.
Thank you. So for me I think it is clear to add him back (I remember something about “not within 6 months” for changing members – I am not sure if that applies here … if so will just have to wait a bit!)
On F&F I can see how that would be helpful if one is often booking for others (but not on the same booking).
