Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Best Buis Lounge HKG? (BA)

Flying home tomorrow night from HKG and given there are a few business lounge options was wondering if anyone had any preference on which lounge to visit.

The Pier, IMHO, but proximity to gate will also be a factor probably. The Wing is fab too.

You have 3 main options (that I know of, I may be missing a 1st lounge here):
    – Business lounge by the 40-50 gates (very large, showers, etc.)
    – Business lounge by the 1-10 gates (smallish, no showers)
    – First lounge by the 1-10 gates (showers, bath!, restaurant)

    Notes:
    – I may be wrong with the gates numbering but basically lounges are in one end and the opposite of the airport! (so maybe it is not 40-50 but 30-40 … but hopefully you get the idea)
    – Walking from one end (gates 1-10) to the other (40-50) takes a while so account for that
    – I may be missing a First lounge here, last year when I as there the one by gates 40-50 may have been closed
    – Having done both the business (40-50) and first (1-10) lounges. Not much difference really (other than restaurant style food on First, but not that amazing, the business lounge is large, comfortable, plenty of food and as all CX, great showers)

Yep, that would be my choice also.

I like the Pier but the Wing Lounge which is much nearer Gate 6 (Often used for BA) is also really good, the same food options. At first it seems very busy but you need to walk to the far end & there are two more, often quiet, seating & eating areas.
There are showers there, the poster above may have missed them.
The only downside was a very, very average choice of red wine & only one blended Scotch.

Good to know they have showers. Last time I was there we were told there were none available (now I learn that may have been just at that time).
