I have a Business Gold in my business name but I was the applicant (business owner/employee). If I now apply for a personal platinum will I be qualified to get the signup bonus?

I asked this in a less helpful way on Saturday with any reply. Its not clear in Robs article

I believe the answer is yes. I’m currently on the business gold and considering personal Plat.

No. If you have held a personal or business card in the past 24 months you are excluded from the signup bonus. Only the corporate card lets you get it.

You can earn the sign up bonus on a personal Platinum card if you hold a business card assuming you meet all other criteria (e.g. no personal MR card for 24mths). From the HfP review of the personal Platinum dated 12/4/23:

“You WILL receive the sign-up bonus if you have a Corporate or Business American Express Green, Gold or Platinum card via your job and you receive Membership Rewards points from it. This is a recent change to the rules. Only PERSONAL cards impact on whether you qualify.”
