Changing Date of Birth on BAEC

Has anyone asked BAEC to change an incorrect date of birth? I’m looking for the most painless method to get this sorted.

If you try and change it within the “your details” part of your account it tells you what you can change for yourself and what only they can change and what evidence they need.

I think DoB comes in the latter,

A few years ago when I wanted my short name “corrected” to my formal name I had to upload a copy of the details page of my passport and it was changed in a day or two.
