Hi, anyone else struggling with searches on ba.com using 241 voucher ? Getting loads of instances of the month to view calendar showing dates with 2xJ available but them not showing up when clicking to search those dates. E.g. supposedly quite a lot of dates with 2xJ LHR-SYD in Feb and March 2026, but no flights shown when clicking through. Also lots of “error – please try later” when searching other popular routes: HKG, HND….
Apologies if there’s a BA forum thread already dedicated to this but couldn’t see anything active recently.
I think, like many others, I will soon be at the end of my Avios journey. 500k to burn and then it’s over. Too much work battling deliberately sh*tty IT looking for needles in haystacks, for anyone able to earn serious £ from their time…
Sorry you feel like that but I’m still getting great value from Avios. Excellent value redemptions to St Lucia and Malta booked for 2026 already. Maybe because we’re retired we don’t see these kind of issues. More availability for us though!
It’s been great until recently. Multiple LHR-SYD plus LHR-DEL, LHR-HND redemptions, plus good value CE all over Europe. But cash fares are coming down and the effort involved in finding redemptions is going up 🙁

I’ve had this on and off for a while but got 2x Club World to Jo’burg in Feb 2026 only last week. Some genuine availability within the false positives so definitely worth persevering. If you’re flexible and persistent there is still “gold in them hills” to be found.
Good morning from Mount Washington Alpine Resort 😎 Stunning scenery with snow still visible on the peaks and manageable highs of 24 today. Re the Amex offer £75 off £300 spend, has anyone been successful paying in advance rather than at checkout to trigger the amex cash back? Or is it literally as per the offer T&Cs that say it is only on check out spend. I haven’t had a chance to use the offers on my multiple cards and the offer expires on 4th July.

Not clear which you are referring to, but I have made prepaid bookings on a few of the IHG, Hilton and Marriott Ax offers and had the credit show up.

I made a £300 payment to a Crowne Plaza on Sunday (called them up, reception took payment on the spot) to make use of the iHG offer. The credit hasn’t shown up yet, but I’m confident it will.
Have been a lurker for a while on this site but I just wanted to pop up to say thanks to the forums and to Rob and team for articles. I’ve managed to game enough avios for business class London to Tokyo (JAL booked via Qatar chat function), Tokyo to Singapore (also JAL) and Auckland to London (Qatar). I also used a handful of Krisflyer points to get £50 discount on a SCOOT fare for a SIN-PERTH trip. Extremely excited about being able to travel in business for those long trips. I’ll also be having an extra long birthday as I take a 9pm flight from Sydney on my birthday to the Cook Islands, crossing the international date line and landing at 7am, still on my birthday 🎉.
ANYWAY. If there are any questions re lounges, facilities, menus etc let me know and I’ll find out in September.

Same issues since yesterday. Error or no available rewards show up. Clicked through seats.aero for a redemption they were showing but BA was not and lo and behold was able to book on BA site. it was a vancoucver to heathrow flight in september. BA was showing no Club class availability a all for the dates

I used the Hyatt offer to book a pre-paid rate at SCHLOSS Roxburghe and the cashback triggered the day after the payment cleared on my card statement.
Will amex still process a pro rata refund?

We don’t update old articles …. it’s a slippery slope since there 18,000 of them and probably 16,000 discuss things which no longer work as described.
