Hi. I have a Companion Voucher booking, Club, Glasgow to Sydney next month. Unfortunately, my mother-in- law has had recent spells in hospital. Checking in Rob’s article of 3 Jan 2024 on Companion vouchers, it states: “Both passengers must travel together at all times.”
My question is- if my wife and I both travelled outbound, but my wife had to return earlier than the booked return flight date, would I be able to travel on the booked return date as a single traveller?
From the article, it would appear this is not allowed.
Anyone any experience of this type of scenario?
Thanks
Is the voucher in your name? Then I think you’d be able to travel as booked. You won’t get anything back for your wife not travelling with you.
If the voucher is in your wife’s name and she is changing the booking to fly home earlier then you’ll have to travel on the same date as she does.
