Curve Card

I have the above card and it used to work well to avoid credit card fees abroad, I seem to remember that the IHG card closed the accounts of customers that linked to curve.
I am just wondering if curve is still useful in this way I would like to link my avios Barclaycard to use abroad if it saves money!
I have the free blue curve card.

Have been using metal with avios BC in Peru for the last month. No problems, no fees.

Most of my Avios Barclaycard use is through (the free) Curve, because you can’t add the Barclaycard card directly to Google Pay / Wallet.

I’ve not had any problems.
