Enhanced SUB on Virgin cards?

Given all the chaos around the Flying Club changes, any chance there may be an enhanced SUB this month to improve card uptake?
Have been waiting to get the card for some time now, wondering if it’s worth waiting until the new changes roll out.

Now that it has been sold to nationwide, its more likely the card will be closed for new applicants.

While it’s possible they could close the VAA cards to new applicants, it would seem more likely that NW would be keen to keep the business as alive as possible pending probable sale of the portfolio.

I was actually planning to apply this week then saw all this news so was wondering the same.

I think there’s no harm in waiting a bit to see, since with the Virgin cards you get the sign up bonus after the first purchase. You don’t have to time it with a period of high spending like the Amex cards.

as noted above NW have historically not done CC and of course we dont know the terms of the takeover but I’d be surprised if VS don’t want to be associated with a credit card although Rob suggests they may be moving in a different direction in USA at least
