Currently Gold status and expires on the 31/12/2025 wondering if someone can advise on how to get to diamond status the fastest way and ideally cheapest way as I understand there may be some costs involved but seeking to get diamond status please and thank and also how to maintain it once achieved without breaking the bank.
You can’t, easily.
The only loopholes are:
*Accor gives credit when you book multiple rooms, so a family taking two rooms can credit both to one account and they account towards status for the booker
*Accor Signature gives you 12,000 points per year at an exceptionally good price – this is a very easy way to get Platinum but still leaves you a long way short of Diamond – see https://loyaltylobby.com/2025/04/20/accor-all-signature-price-increase-existing-renewals/
@Tomacat2 Why are you particularly wedded to getting Diamond status?
Platinum is the sweet spot in the Accor loyalty programme, with all the benefits of Gold (upgrade, welcome drink, early check in or later check out) PLUS suite night awards, lounge access and both early check in combined with late out if you want and a 75% points bonus on stays. Diamond members gain access to free breakfast on weekends (daily in Asia-Pacific), Dining & Spa Rewards, the ability to gift Gold status, and a 100% point bonus. I can’t say that any of those differences really justify the additional stay or spend requirements for me.
As @Rob ‘s post above references, the Signature program (if you start it in January) will get you 12k of the 14k status points you need in a year to earn Platinum. You’re then left needing to spend €800 on hotel stays to close the 2k status point gap. In your scenario, if you’re aim is for the end of 2025 when your current status expires, a sub now will only earn 7k status points (which alone would refresh your Gold level) and so you’ll need to get another 7k via spend (€2,800) to hit Platinum.
The other benefit of the Signature programme is that you’re also buying Accor reward points at a discount (rate depends on the Brazilian Real), so you’ll be able to save on stays in future while enjoying the benefits of your status. In my experience, Accor are better than most chains at giving status member recognition but this is likely because they don’t come across loads as it is quite hard to earn!
Thank you both for your answers after reading your comment I’ll go with what was mentioned which is platinum status but wanted to ask as to when to start the subscription for Accor Signature as you mention doing so in January would you say doing so at the start of the month or any random day within the month of january as most of my stays tend to be in Asia.
Do it at the start of the month and the points are usually credited within a few days.
Remember that if you start in Jan 2026, depending on how often you stay, you might be stuck on Silver and later gold status for a while. There was a Black Friday discount last year and I managed to sign up on 1st December. The extra discount might be worth it for you but obvs 1 less set of 1000 points, compared to signing up in January.
No guarantees that they’ll offer the discount again on Black Friday this year though.
Can I ask if this is possible currently on Gold with Zero nights or status points for now taking into account of Ibis card which gives 10 nights and voyageur which gives 20 nights which currently gives 30 nights which means I retain gold but if i get the Accor Plus membership for asia will this stack onto the 30 nights and bring me up to 50 nights meaning I just need to do another 10 nights to get platinum just want to ask before paying as aim for Platinum now
Accor really should change it so that Platinums at least get breakfast at weekends outside APAC, and Diamond should get free breakfast everywhere at all times (10,400 EUR spend and still having to pay for breakfast on weekdays outside Asia is nuts)
Restricting the free breakfast Platinum benefit to APAC is just weird.

I don’t think that Accor Plus and Voyageur stack (see https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/accor-all-accor-live-limitless/2180329-do-card-nights-stack.html) but you can stack one of them with the Ibis card for insta-gold.
However there is also a paid-for Chinese Accor Plus 2.0 Supreme card that could give another 30 nights (https://all.accor.com/a/en/loyalty-program/subscription-program-all-plus-china.html) for a cost of about £275 (RMB 2,688), which is something I have learned today! So you can ‘buy’ Platinum status for a cumulative cost of c. £530 (Ibis €99 + Voyageur €199 + China Supreme RMB 2,688). This Chinese Accor card also gives you some free night and discount vouchers, so your net cost to buy status could be lower if you can make genuine use of these offers.
If you go down this route then you are getting status via nights rather than status points, so the Signature programme is not necessary. You may still get value from the discounted rewards points alone but that would be a side-consideration. Only you can decide which route makes sense to you, based on your Accor spend and (particularly APAC region) stay patterns.

You can’t stack Accor Plus with the ALL PLUS memberships but weirdly you can stack Accor Plus China!

@Pangolin It really is pretty poor isn’t it?! I guess the real Platinum perk is the lounge access but then you find that they stingily carve out Fairmonts from that too… and don’t get me started on how their e-store Avios never seem to track 🤬Noticed that you need to scan something to purchase the membership tried using the qr code scanner with no success can someone advise as can purchase today to get platinum if i can purchase all 3 now

@Tomacat2 if you are referring to help with the China membership you may be better posting on the FlyerTalk thread I linked above… I have never seem it mentioned on here before today! Will do and thank you for the helpful information
You are welcome – please do post your status results back here as it is an interesting scenario and I’m invested now!
If you use your reward points for money off a stay when pay on checking in do you still get full status points on the booking or reduced.

Reduced, obviously. Pay cash and get elite points, simple.
And if you want to part pay with points, best to inform the front desk early. Some hotel staff get really annoyed, defensive and start arguing the booked rate doesnt allow that.Accor really should change it so that Platinums at least get breakfast at weekends outside APAC, and Diamond should get free breakfast everywhere at all times (10,400 EUR spend and still having to pay for breakfast on weekdays outside Asia is nuts)

Yep, crazy. At the least, offer that benefit as a milestone bonus for those with actual nights stayed, like IHG.

Status and reward points are reduced pro-rata but you should still receive an elite night credit per night stayed.
