We are looking to take advantage of the BA luxury sale with a 10 day trip to Israel later this year. We plan to hire a car, but have noticed that we are only offered a holiday package discount if the car is for the total duration of the holiday. Is that normal?
Due to the late arrival and early departure flights we would prefer to pick up the car the day after we arrive and drop it off the day before we leave, but doing so costs significantly more than collecting/dropping off on arrival/departure.
If I called the BAEC silver line, would an agent be able to combine these options with a package discount?

Select “Customise your trip” and put one flight, one car. Then you can add your flights and car separately.
@timmyg – it’s usually possible to agree minor changes to drop off/pick up times with the rental company in these situations. You might want to double check with them prior to committing to the holiday booking though.
It might not be an issue for you but you might also only get the double TPs if your car hire is for the whole booking, I can’t recall what the terms are off the top of my head!
