So I walk into the Galleries club lounge and on the desk they have a series of individually wrapped chocolate Corgies to mark the coronation. Nice touch, but weren’t the Corgies emblematic of the Queen – and didn’t the poor things get palmed off to Prince Andrew after her passing?
Edited to add – T5 south fast track security very quick, regular security even quieter. Perhaps there are some learnings from this strike action…
Were they left over from the Platinum Jubilee maybe?!
That would explain a lot on so many levels…
Quickly checked the best before date but that says April 2024. What’s the typical shelf life of something like that? Can’t think it would be more than a year.
It can be up to 2 years for chocolate, which makes eating confectionary near its sell-by date distinctly unappealing! If they were produced in April 2022 in time for the Jubilee that might be about right.
