I am a student with income (from parents) of about 80K per annum. Can’t pass the eligibility check so can’t apply. Got rejected by the Barclays Avios Plus despite doing premier banking with them. Any advice? Experian score of 961. Any help is appreciated!
Whilst I wish I had even a tenth of that kind of money when I was a student, I’m not sure it counts as “income” from the perspective of a credit card company.
The eligibility check isn’t a necessary step in the process. You could still apply and see what happens, appealing if necessary. Not sure they’ll accept the appeal though, but no harm in trying.

hi thanks for the info. I can’t find where to apply, it seems like you must pass the eligibility check which then will redirect you.. or perhaps I am missing something 🙁
No, you need to go via the eligibility checker (even though, historically when they were separate, the checker and the actual application form gave very different results!).
However, having a chunky salary and therefore being exceptionally unlikely to pay interest on your credit cards does not exactly make you a hot prospect.
