@Angelamc11 Yes, all Kimpton (first time in Amsterdam, then twice in Manchester and last one in Edinburgh). It is really sad that next month it won’t be possible to use it again at Kimpton… I just discovered the brand (usually very loyal to Marriott) and loved it; but don’t like Intercontinental hotels too much…
Ty for the info. We are also loyal to Marriott and have only tried the Kimpton once. I may squeeze in a trip to Edinburgh Kimpton before year end lol.
I checked in at Kimpton Edinburgh a couple of days ago. The social password gave me a box of chocolates, then in the room I had the same box of chocolates as welcome gift.
Very nice hotel, I enjoyed it much more than my previous two stays at Clocktower.
As diamond ambassador, I got breakfast for free and a drink voucher (I think this was because our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 2pm, although it was ready less than 15 min later). Got upgraded to a very nice junior suite.
It worked amazingly well for me, as I used the ambassador night certificate (for the 4th time this year, and it is still showing in my account…) plus the Amex £75 off offer; so two nights came at around £260 net. Furthermore I rebooked it during cyber Monday deal, so I should get almost 20k points. Happy days!Have all 4 stays been at Kimpton? I still have mine after a Kimpton stay, but have IC Amsterdam booked for January. Would be nice to retain the voucher.
Here later this week, was hoping the secret password would see us some cocktails. I like that the Fitzroy gives you a choice of a amenity, although maybe that’s not the norm?
Wouldn’t the Fitzroy amenity have been the standard for Diamonds now, i.e. points, drinks or breakfast?

Apologies, I meant the secret password amenity, the Fitzroy give a choice.
Hello, is the “snuggle is real” still valid? Due to stay at Kitalay on Sunday. Booked on rewards and get breakfast anyway. But would welcome a couple drink vouchers. Thanks.

It’s valid until the end of Feb from what I’ve read elsewhere
Shared the password at Charlotte Square, not really sure what it got me. Handed 2 boxes of nice chocolates and then asked if we would like drinks, I said yes and they advised to let them know whenever we wanted them vs handing us a voucher.
Kimpton Epic Miami
Password gets you a lucky choice from three boxes. The first box was a room upgrade. But as I already had a great room and also not staying many nights, I asked if I could try again for the second box. This was a scented candle. Don’t know what was in the third box.
March 2023
I’ve got a stay next week.
What is the current password, now the snuggle is real has ended?
There isn’t one.
They don’t always follow on from each other. In the last there have been gaps of a couple of months between them.
I’m checking in to Kimpton de Witt later today – will see if the snuggle still gets me something (probably just a weird look).
Nope! Nothing from the secret password.
I used it last week at Kimpton Clocktower (few days after it expired) and was accepted. It got me two bottles of shampoo and conditioner of 19-69 (the brand used at the hotel). Much better than the previous two stays there, when they gave me a box of fudge.
Has the secret password died a death :(?
No. It’s just not an endless continuing offer. It takes regular breaks of a couple of months at least/
New one released
“No Shade” valid May 26-September 3, 2023
Thanks again @davefl. Apologies newbie questions. Who does one say this to? Check-in person? Barman? Presumably say it once per stay rather than daily if the stay is more than one night?
If it doesn’t illicit a positive response, say it to another person at another time?

I think you must mean ‘elicit’ in the hopes of a positive response rather than an ‘illicit’ one?
