Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club LHR Clubhouse using credit card voucher

Hi, Has anyone used the VA credit card voucher to get LHR Clubhouse access? We are family of 4 (2 adults + 4 and 1 year old). Wondering how many credit card vouchers we would need to get access for all. Can 1 adult with access guest 2nd adult? Also any idea about children policy?
I called CC and they said I would need 2 vouchers for 2 adults, in addition to £35 for 4 year old child. 1 year old one would be allowed without any additional cost.
I’ve been to LHR Clubhouse before and loved it but don’t think it’s worth 2 credit card vouchers + £35 considering I would have access to centurion lounge anyways.
So looking if anyone has any experience of this else I’m getting more inclined towards the Centurion lounge.
    Thanks

Whilst the Clubhouse is brilliant, the Centurion is good too.

Imo, wouldn’t ‘waste’ them on Clubhouse access if you can get into Centurion AND you’d use the vouchers for a 241.

One credit card voucher can be used as a Clubhouse voucher, if you’re a Silver or Gold member. This allows one person entry to the Clubhouse if you’re Silver. You’ll get two Clubhouse vouchers per credit card voucher if you’re Gold. From memory, and based on my own experience, what CC is telling you is probably correct. Remember, if you’re Gold: that means you can get four in – you, your guest, and two per credit card voucher.

The Centurion lounge is nice. I don’t think the Clubhouse is a good use of the credit card vouchers, to be honest.

Unfortunately, no status with Virgin or with any other airlines. Most likely I’ve more voucher more than enough vouchers and couple of them could very well expire before I get to use them. But I think for now I’ll go with the Centurion and keep vouchers for potential future upgrade.
    Thanks for the feedbacks.
