With 6 hours to spare k thought I’d take a look if this was still here as check-in desk not listed yet.
Sorry to say it is no longer there. The people on the desk for the hotel (that was fully booked btw) said there is no plan for it to return.
Just thought I’d save anyone a 10min walk to find this out for themselves
Was this an independent lounge? Lots of arrival lounges have gone the way of the dodo since covid.
It was the Iberia one referenced in an hfp article from 11th March 2019:
From arrivals go down to level -1 where the train station is and go towards the hotel (that has also changed its name since the article).
There is an edit from early 2023, saying closed. I think that can be further updated now.
Very annoyingly the arrivals lounge is on the Iberia website showing as at -1. It’s just a short stay mini hotel and there is no lounge. It’s very frustrating because I’ve got a 6 hour wait and as I’m flying Ryanair back to
Manchester I can’t drop my bags off for hours. Very annoying!
